Tasked with identifying a system that could match the visual appeal of the original wooden frames whilst offering improved quality, usability and security, the Dortech team took the innovative step of suggesting a change to aluminium. When the UK government launched its Decarbonisation and energy efficiency roadmap 2050 project – working with the UK’s eight most energy intensive manufacturing industries, including glass – British Glass saw an opportunity to develop a new type of relationship with policy makers.
